We Warned Them Campaign

We Warned Them is a human rights, non-profit predominantly led by POC, LGBTQ+, and disabled/neurodivergent people who are on a mission to support marginalized communities and raise awareness through direct action. Our objective is to provide an intersectional approach to understanding institutionalized abuse. Intersectionality deals with the interconnected nature of social identities in regards to how they overlap and work. Understanding the importance of intersectionality within activism is crucial to working with our team. We all come from different backgrounds with different experiences, so understanding how to work with diverse individuals is the key to group success.
