Located in Sth Melb Canvas House is a unique warehouse space designed specifically for those looking for a distinctive & beautiful experience. A warm & welcoming space, it is ideal for social gathering - both big & small or for corporates who are looking for an environment that will nurture & encourage real interactions & foster genuine outcomes for their next conference or workshop. A little about the space: THE STUDY The Study is a formal boardroom setting that can hold up to 10 people. The Study also serves as a research room. At one end of the room is a one way mirror for researchers and corporates to view focus groups from The Nook. The one way mirror can be easily concealed to allow for privacy during standard meetings or workshops & works well for groups who are looking to hire the whole venue & need breakout spaces. THE NOOK Designed to feel like a comfortable yet chic lounge room this space works well as a break out space for workshops or as a traditional viewing room for market research sessions that are conducted in The Study. It is also the perfect space to escape when larger events are held in the main Gallery. THE GALLERY This is a unique event space that has been designed to be used as either one large space that could hold up to 300 people for a conference or event. The Gallery is set in the heart of the warehouse & celebrates the high ceilings & exposed beams. Central to this space is the large kitchen that encourages you to sit around the island bench & enjoy everything that Canvas House has to offer. Adjoining the kitchen is a small lounge where guest can enjoy the comforts of the open fireplace. FURNISHINGS Careful consideration has been put into all of the finishes and furnishings. We understand that comfort & practicality is imperative, especially for all day corporate events. But this does not mean that style, quality textures & organic finishes should be compromised.
