Weed Science Laboratory

The Weed Science Laboratory is conducting research in the domain of weed (seed) biology, weed genetics, invasive alien species, herbicide resistance (management),chemical and non-chemical (cultural, biological, mechanical and physical) weed control tactics within the framework of technically, economically, socially and environmentally sustainable weed management. Our research focuses on actual and future weed-related challenges and opportunities for integrated weed control in crop and non-crop areas, with special focus on innovative weed control techniques.
