Weedingtech is leading the 'herbicide free' weed control market through the development of their system called Foamstream. Foamstream's patented low-pressure process combines hot water as the killing agent with a natural, organic, and biodegradable foam which creates a layer of thermal insulation above the water, ensuring heat is retained long enough to cause a breakdown in plant cell structure to kill or sufficiently damage the treated vegetation. The result is fewer annual applications, making Foamstream the most cost effective alternative to herbicides. Foamstream is made of a blend of biodegradable natural plant oils and sugars making it completely safe to use around people, animals, waterways, and delicate ecosystems.
