WeForest International, a transformative environmental initiative, emerged in 2018 from the collective vision of a group of passionate university students. Fueled by their determination to combat deforestation and promote sustainability, they set their sights on Kenya. Envisioning a greener future, they aimed to reforest vast areas and mitigate the impacts of climate change. With sheer dedication, this tight-knit team garnered support from like-minded individuals, each contributing what they could. Despite limited resources, they embarked on the arduous journey of formal registration in 2020. Overcoming challenges, they persevered, and in 2022, WeForest International finally achieved official recognition. Today, WeForest International stands as a symbol of youthful enthusiasm and unwavering commitment to a healthier planet, exemplifying the power of unity in the face of environmental adversity.
