Weiss A/S group belonged to BWB Partners, Danish private equity fund.
Weiss developed, manufactured and installed waste and biomass based combustion plants. These range in size from 1 to 60 MW.
As a part of BWB Partners strategy (Danish private equity fund), it was decided to sale production facilities and some part of operations to an industry investor (Danstoker Group part of Thermax Group). After sale, the rest of the business remained in Denmark as a company Weiss ApS.
Weiss has delivered more than 1,000 energy power plants over the last 90 years – most of them as “ready-to-use” turn-key projects. Weiss projected, designed, and installed combustion plants for bio fuels and waste (range from 1 MW to 30 MW in a single boiler line). The Weiss Team was turn-key partner from the feasibility study via detailed design process and own production facilities to the complete on-site installation and final hand over tests. Weiss were a leading designer of combustion plants in Scandinavia.
