After 15 years of presence in the industry, despreSpa.ro officially becomes Wellandia. The new name reflects what this project has grown into today: – For the general public, a source of inspiration and a space for reset – featuring top Spa centers, tailored offers and valuable insights on relaxation, nutrition, movement, sleep, medical recovery, and modern wellness technologies. Everything you need to quickly choose the wellness experiences that truly suit you. – For professionals, Wellandia is an educational and professional ecosystem – offering platforms, programs, initiatives, and resources for those shaping the future of the Spa & Wellness industry. It brings together recruitment, mentoring, career development, experience exchange, and flagship events like the Spa Romania Conference and Spa Romania Awards – along with an educational space through SpaEdu, Romania’s first Spa academy, accredited by CIDESCO International. We continue the vision we started with despreSpa.ro – now with a new identity that allows us to grow even further. Our mission is for Romania to become a reference destination for Spa & Wellness – known not only for its landscapes or traditions, but for the quality of the wellness and care experiences it offers. Our vision is that by 2040, over 30% of Romania’s population will regularly benefit from authentic Spa and wellness services, with real impact on health and inner balance.
