Heather has been teaching wellness and cooking classes to professionals at the corporate level and makes regular appearances on cooking on live television.
Heather is the co-founder and executive director of a successful local non-profit organization, Happy Healthy Cooks. Since 2009, Happy Healthy Cooks has educated and changed attitudes of thousands of Roanoke City school children and their families around food and nutrition, empowering them to make nutritious choices because their health depends on it.
Heather is also a trained Mindfulness instructor and has developed and delivered science-based mindfulness trainings in the workplace.
Finally, Heather is a certified “Laughter Yoga” instructor. Laughter, they say, IS the best medicine!
