Wellness Journey BD

Wellness Journey BD is currently implementing the project named 'Heal & Thrive,' which aims to address intergenerational trauma in Dhaka City communities by targeting the unconscious transmission of harmful emotional, cognitive, and behavioral patterns. Initially, 12 leaders are undergoing training in relevant mental health topics provided by subject experts to tackle intergenerational trauma. These trained leaders will subsequently engage with 144 community members, forming twelve groups to impart tools and knowledge about unhealthy patterns related to intergenerational trauma. This process eventually leads to engaging potential community members in the 'Living Room,' marking the second phase of the project and initiating the healing of trauma through dialogue. The inception of this project occurred during a fellowship within the U.S. Department of State’s exchange program, specifically the Community Solutions Program. Funding for this initiative has been graciously provided by the EMK Center, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with project implementation facilitated by Wellness Journey, Bangladesh.
