Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA) is an independent Emergency Medicine group located in central North Carolina. It is owned and managed by working emergency medicine physicians, including our board of directors, managing partner, and group president. Our physicians also serve as medical directors at each facility that we staff. WEPPA was originally incorporated in 1992 and has expanded to where it currently staffs five different hospital systems and 13 EDs around the Triangle area of North Carolina with a diverse roster of more than 135 physicians and 115 APPs. We also have a full administrative staff that allows our providers to focus on patient care. Guided by a commitment to quality and patient safety, we are always working to improve the services we offer to our patients and hospital partners.
