WKS (WEserve Kollan Shongstha)

WKS (WEserve Kollan Shongstha) is a non-profit social enterprise whose goal is to integrate and bring respect to the marginalized societies of Bangladesh that include: the Hijras (transgender), Dalits (‘untouchables'), etc. To do this, We aim is to train them in basic social etiquettes, domestic chores, and professional skills as applicable to connect them with organizations that are progressive enough to provide employment opportunities to them. The main principle of WKS's operation revolves around respect for one another and humanity. Hence, We aim to successfully merge these marginalized groups with our mainstream society by making them a contributing citizen of this beautiful country and helping it socially progress and grow even further as per the SDG (Sustainable Development Goal).
