Wesley Arts - Art from the Margins Gallery & Studios

Wesley Arts is a creative initiative of Wesley Mission Queensland. Wesley Arts brings artists together and bridges the gap between them and the wilder community. Our flagship art gallery and studio, Art From the Margins, supports the creative development of artists living with adversity, mental health issues, physical or intellectual disabilities, or experiencing homelessness and social isolation. Since 2008 , AFTM has supported more than one Thousand artists and over fifty community art groups located within the Brisbane area and beyond. Our Vision Transform the lives of those experiencing adversity and disabilities through the joy of art. Our Mission Be a leading provider of visual arts programs and opportunities for people living with adversity and disabilities in Queensland. Wesley Arts operates from the AFTM Gallery & Studios at 136 Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane and a number of other locations around Brisbane including Albany Creek and Rocklea. We hold exhibitions, events and art workshops in this space throughout the year. Our hope is to develop a vibrant, creative and inclusive inner city art space.
