West Brook Winery is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries owned and operated by the renowned fourth generation, Ivicevich family winemakers. Grapes are sourced from top New Zealand growing regions including Marlborough, Hawkes Bay and Waimauku, near Auckland. Using a combination of innovative and traditional techniques, West Brook’s skilled growers and winemakers produce adventuresome wine styles that show the full potential, and reflect the diversity of New Zealand’s premium growing regions. Located in the Waikoukou Valley, Waimauku, west of Auckland, West Brook derives its name from a west Auckland rail stop of the same name, on the Oratia stream that once had a wheel driven mill on it. The new winery site has its own stream and a pond adjacent to the winery, providing an obvious link to the West Brook name. Under the careful stewardship of Chief Winemaker Anthony Ivicevich and his wife Sue, West Brook has developed an enviable global reputation for producing hand-crafted, award winning wines.
