Water and Environment Student Talks (WEST) Conference

A global student-led conference since 2014, showcasing keynote speakers, student presentations, panels, and interactive sessions covering all things water. 🌊💧🌏 At the core of the WEST Conference is the belief that tackling our upcoming water challenges demands a multifaceted approach, bringing together not just environmentalists and engineers, but also policymakers, aquatic scientists, journalists, artists, and others from diverse disciplines. Open to both graduate and undergraduate students, the WEST conference adopts a hybrid format to be accessible to participants from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, fostering a broader and more inclusive platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and learning.
