Westech Building Products ULC is a leading producer of PVC extruded profiles for the Window & Door and other building materials. Westech is a Division of Westlake Chemical Corporation, with headquarters in Houston, TX. Westlake Chemical Corporation is a Fortune 500 company with $8 billion in revenue. Westlake is a diverse, vertically-integrated, chemicals leader, producing vinyl and olefin products; it is the second largest PVC producer in North America and third largest globally. Westech began in 1979 as Engineered Profiles Ltd. and at that time, extruded custom shapes for the window and door industry. In 1983, the first fully welded casement system was designed and offered to window fabricators in 1984. As the market conditions dictated, new systems were added to meet the growing demands for a maintenance free, energy efficient, vinyl window.
