The Western Fire and Forest Resilience Collaborative is a multi-year research program designed to accelerate advances in fire ecology and forest resilience, ensuring the fields are ready to support forward-looking strategic decision-making. The Collaborative brings together scientists and practitioners to identify key knowledge gaps that challenge the stewardship of western forests.
Partnering research labs include Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford University, UC Santa Barbara, University of Washington, University of Colorado - Boulder, University of Wisconsin - Madison, and US Forest Service.
