Our timeline: 2010 Founded in 2010, ZipSure Insurance Brokers Ltd. was Canada’s first fully digital insurance broker, transforming the insurance buying process. Its flagship product, ZipTenant, caters to landlords seeking tenant insurance, with options for home, auto, pet, and travel insurance. 2015 Based in Calgary, Alberta, Nuera Insurance Inc. was founded in 2015 to provide a range of insurance services, including life, auto, travel, property, and recreational coverage through its efficient digital brokerage. 2021 ZipSure joined the Westland Insurance Group as part of Westland’s acquisition of the Storm Insurance Group. This acquisition allowed ZipSure to expand nationally and further enhance its digital insurance solutions. 2024 Westland Express introduces API integration to simplify tenant insurance for property managers, enabling seamless connectivity between their portal, tenants and internal systems.
