Westside Sleep Center

Westside Sleep Center is Portland Oregon's top sleep center. Owned and operated by Scott Fromherz, MD a Stanford trained Sleep Specialist. Dr. Fromherz attended college at the University of Oregon, where he received a bachelors of arts and masters degrees in Psychology. He attended medical school at Georgetown Medical School where he was the recipient of the Desmond S. O'Doherty award in the Department of Neurology. He completed his Neurology residency at Stanford Medical Center, and while there, he was introduced to the field of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Fromherz completed a 2-year fellowship in Sleep Medicine, under the tutelage of Drs. Emmanuel Mignot, Christian Guilleminault, William C. Dement, Jed Black, and Clete Kushida, who are among the most acclaimed sleep pioneers in the world. In 2005, Dr. Fromherz happily returned to his native Oregon, where he began practicing Sleep Medicine Full-time as a sole-proprietor. His approach to Sleep Medicine combines a blend of skill, creativity, and empathy that makes him uniquely qualified to combat the most difficult sleep disorders.
