The Wetekam Group is a family-owned business, developing and producing monofilaments for a broad customer range and product portfolio. With a passionate workforce, global footprint and world class engineering and manufacturing capabilities, we are driving innovation and developing solutions across a broad spectrum of applications in a vast range of businesses (i.e. automotive, filtration, turf, medical, fishing and tennis strings). The company was founded in 1965 in Germany and has its largest production facility in Melsungen in the center of Germany. Through continuous innovation; expansion and transfer of knowledge and a relentless customer focus, the Wetekam Group has been growing steadily since its founding and has taken a leading role as Monofilament manufacturer in Europe and in the world. The company distinguishes itself by its short decision paths, long term development and investment in its employees, long term growth focus and building truly long term customer relationship. Wetekam has established in 2015 its operation in Dandridge Tennessee from which it supplies and services its customer base in the Americas.
