Wetland4Change project (Interreg Euro-MED Programme within the Natural Heritage Mission) aims at validating transferable solutions based on wetland conservation and restoration for climate adaptation and mitigation in order to accelerate the capacities of wetland managers and of policy makers to cope with the climate crisis
The main project outputs are: two wetland-based solutions tested and
validated in 5 pilot sites at 5 countries (BG, GR, IT, FR, ES): for carbon-sequestration and for flood regulation. On top of this a dynamic user-oriented transfer plan, powered by science-based knowledge, will be developed for the first time
