Singapore-based hedge fund manager, WeTrust Asset Management, was founded in 2019 by Keith Wu and other veteran investors in Chinese equity markets. Our mission is to become a trustworthy cross-border investment manager who could generate decent compounding absolute returns over the long run for our investors home and abroad. Prior to founding WeTrust, Keith was the Managing Director and Head of Equities Investment for China Everbright Limited (0165.HK) under Chinese financial conglomerate China Everbright Group. Keith was also the Portfolio Manager of Everbright China Focus Fund since its inception, generated 16.22% per annum for its investors in his past career, and won many industry accolades including the most prestigious Golden Bull Private Fund Manager Awards (2017, 2018, 2019) and Eurekahedge Asia Absolute Return Fund Award (2016). WeTrust aims to launch in 1Q2020 a China focused long short equity fund (“WeTrust Fund”) with targeted return of 15-20% per annum against tightly controlled drawdown. The WeTrust Fund will leverage Keith' many years of experiences in surviving and succeeding in the Chinese equity market, by combining a unique top down China specific exposure and risk management approach with a bottom-up GARP (Growth At Reasonable Price) stock selection method.
