“Harmony makes small things grow, lack of it makes great things decay.” It is this harmony and balance that rules the roost in the cosmos and keeping this in mind it was realised that the same need to be experienced and built in the way we all approach our life space and techspace. WGC as we would like this initiative to be popularly known as aims to bring together like-minded individuals to share their ideas, discuss, deliberate and foster a healthy dialogue to work together and create a healthy balance where we not just celebrate our heroes but also SHEROES. Initially, the focus is creating a common platform through a blog and e-magazine to get together the ideas, the experiences, the apprehensions, the challenges and then build the network of passionate professionals in Geospatial Industry. While building a professional network in the Geospatial, Surveying and Mapping Community WGC also aims in promoting the technology to the masses by organizing workshops and events in the realms of geospatial, surveying and mapping, energy, environment, and sustainable development and so on.
