WHATSUITSHIM (WSH) is a multimedia boutique founded and curated by the project’s lead creative, Larry J. Sanders. WSH’s e-magazine formally launched 1 January 2016 with a predominant focus on men’s fashion and cultural commentary written by Larry and volunteer contributors. In the subsequent years, WSH has expanded to include a podcast network, professional development firm, and photography house, while Rhyanna Morgan has joined the project in an official capacity as an entertainment critic and podcaster. WSH’s e-magazine was conceived as an original gateway into cultural analysis for writers without formal journalistic training. Openly inspired by online ventures such as Grantland and The Ringer, WSH seeks to provide millennial, African-American commentary on cultural current events that inform and entertain either (and hopefully both) of those intersections. Relatedly, WSH’s subdivisions are marketed toward consumers of the WSH e-magazine.
