Write Things

Write Things was essentially founded on two principles: the love for the written word, and the desire to nurture those who find themselves equally enraptured by reading and writing. Driven by the passion to cultivate the writing talents of students, we aim to share skills and knowledge from our vast experience as writers and authors to help others navigate through the world of words and stories. With a pool of published guest authors, writers and poets, students will be closely guided in trying their hand at different genres—fiction, poetry, nonfiction/essays and even writing for school—as well as in tapping their own imagination and creativity. And because we firmly believe that strong reading habits go hand in hand with keen writing skills, and that books are indeed indispensable tools in learning the craft, exposure to a wide and rich range of literature, both local and foreign, is always a part of the writing sessions. Through various writing classes and workshops for kids, teens and adults to fuel both knowledge and creativity, we build an ever-growing community of learners that makes Write Things a true home for future weavers of the written word.
