Whetstone Coffee

Whetstone Coffee is a microroaster in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas. Originally founded by Josh Whetstone in the summer of 2011 in Little Elm as a fun project to share freshly roasted coffee from around the world with his family and friends, it is now positioned to become a contender in the new arena of "third wave" roasters in the area. Making higher quality, handcrafted, artisan-roasted coffee available to the public, while sourcing coffee ethically and intentionally – ensuring a better quality of life for the people that support themselves and their families on the bean – is the vision of the company. Our coffee beans come from countries throughout the three coffee-producing regions of the world: Latin America, Africa/Arabia, and Asia/Pacific. Currently they come from a couple of different suppliers that have direct trade relationships with the farms and cooperatives that grow and process the coffee. One day, it is our hope to have our own direct trade relationships for all of our beans. The beans you buy are roasted to order and sold within three days of roasting to ensure the finest quality in your cup.
