The Whidbey Young Professionals hopes to enhance our community by collecting and creating resilient Young Professionals and giving back to the local Whidbey Island Community. In addition, the WYP hopes to act as an inspiration for positive change and attract and cultivate future leaders in the greater Whidbey Island community. Mission & Vision: Mission: To create networking, educational, and volunteer opportunities for young professionals on Whidbey Island. Vision: To become a household name across the Whidbey Island area. Values: Social and Business Networking We are an organization where young professionals can meet, network, socialize and join under one common purpose. Networking and Social activities can help to build friendships and sustain successful business partnerships. Leadership & Development We strive to empower and uphold solid leaders in our community by following our mission and vision and leading by example in our organization. In addition, we provide avenues by which young professionals can achieve personal and professional growth. Community Service We are committed to dedicating time to community service initiatives in our community to promote the growth and prosperity of Whidbey Island. Objectives: 1. Showcase a more vibrant and dynamic community by attracting retaining and developing young professionals in the Whidbey Area. 2.
