The Working group of Dutch Family Physicians in international healthcare (WHIG) aims to enhance knowledge exchange between dutch Family Physicians on health problems caused by globalization. Our mission is to contribute to more inclusive primary care in the Netherlands and abroad to ensure also vulnerable groups have adequate access to quality care.

- Yearly WHIG symposium on International health problems for health care professionals and students
- Series of hybrid Webinars on inclusive primary care
- Expertise in Travel Medicine (pre-travel immunizations counseling and medicines)
- Promoting primary care research in diverse populations
- partnering with Family Medicine training abroad to facilitate student exchanges
- Strengthening Family Medicine training in LMIC's
