Whirl Recycling is a Sydney-based social enterprise tackling Australia’s fastest-growing waste stream: tech. We offer free electronics pickup and secure data destruction for homes, schools, and businesses - no bin diving, no landfill, no greenwashing.
We don’t call it e-waste - because what we collect still has value. Wherever possible, we repair, reuse or recover before we recycle. And every device is data-wiped or destroyed by default, with optional certification included at no cost.
Run by co-founders Lisa and Adrian Saunders, Whirl is built to make reuse easy, not an afterthought. We’re proudly independent, unapologetically direct, and committed to a future where tech stays in use and out of the ground.
