Wentworth-Halton X-Ray and Ultrasound Inc. is one Ontario’s oldest and most trusted providers of diagnostic medical imaging services and operates the largest diagnostic imaging network of clinics in Ontario. It is a privately owned and operated company since 1972. Over the past decade, Wentworth-Halton X-Ray and Ultrasound has expanded its network of outpatient imaging clinics in order to provide services to patients in a convenient location close to where they live and work. We now operate thirteen clinics throughout the Golden Horseshoe where patients can expect to receive the same level of care that they would receive in an academic teaching hospital, but in much more convenient locations. We continue to improve and modernize our operations, evolving to a fully digital organization which allows us to provide the best possible service in a timely manner to our patients. Continuous quality and service improvement is a hallmark of our organization as we focus on meeting the ever-growing needs of our referring physicians and patients while providing professional and friendly services. What sets us apart from other providers of diagnostic imaging services is the high level of expertise and sub-specialization of our Radiologists who are on staff at the Hamilton General Hospital and are Professors or Assistant Professors at McMaster University’s Faculty of Medicine. Many of our Radiologists have subspecialty training in higher level imaging and interventions which they perform at Hamilton General Hospital. Our staff prides themselves on rapid, courteous service. We offer same day walk in X-ray service and same day urgent ultrasound appointments. We partner with other healthcare service providers in the GTHA, including the Stroke Prevention Clinics at Trillium Hospital and the Hamilton General Hospital in order to expedite access to higher level care for our patients.
