Our mission as WightAID is to support charitable projects which benefit individuals and the Island that we love.
Since our launch, we have been making a huge impact within the community by distributing regular grants to local charities. To date 277 different groups have benefitted from a WightAID grant to name a few, Prostate Cancer Support Group, Daisy Chains, Alzheimer Café and Care in Garden have been supported which helps fund improvement projects, residential trips, health and wellbeing courses and so on.
In our nine years we are proud to have granted more than £764,000 which would not have been possible without the generosity of all our supports and many Island businesses. This means that we can provide a faster, more efficient conduit for distributing money to those that are in need, just when they need it.
