Women in Government (WIG ng) is an initiative birthed by the Nwatam Women Empowerment Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation founded in 2021 by a woman serving in government, to provide a forum aimed at empowering women who are serving in Civil and Public Service. It is a platform where we converge to learn, discuss, share, and be mentored, with a view to improving capacity and ensuring that we reach our fullest potential, and exploring various avenues that would put women in government in Nigeria, on the global map.
