WIKUS India Pvt Ltd is the First European Band Saw Manufacturer to set up its own manufacturing facility in INDIA having its new manufacturing unit at Chakan – Pune (Maharashtra).
The company was established in December 2014 and our operations have started from April 2015.
This unit claims to serve answers to the selection of right band saw blades with high quality & performance through a wide range of innovative products, which satisfies customer’s requirement. Mr. Wilhelm H. Kullmann established ‘WIKUS’ in Spangenberg (Germany) in 1958.
With 50 years of experience in developing & manufacturing high performance cutting tools, the company has initiated positive steps towards India by establishing the manufacturing unit to serve Indian customers.
This new unit is equipped to ‘Make in India’ and well-positioned to meet the market demand for sustainable sawing technologies in the country. “With high quality & performance”, this unit will offer high precision sawing technology to the customers and will help to increase our distribution reach.
At WIKUS India Pvt. Ltd., we manufacture, supply and service Carbon Steel, Bi-Metal, Carbide Tipped and Diamond band saw blades for the Indian market. In addition we have introduced new sawing solutions “Circular Saw Cutters“ from Cermet Tipped as well Carbide Tipped grades & also introduced new Servicing division to extend Technical Back up Services for repair & overhauling your Sawing Machines.
It also focuses more towards reaching the customers for after sales services.
Today, WIKUS is the global market leader for metal sawing, and Europe’s largest band saw manufacturer.
