WILD Durango

We aim to diversify and strengthen the outdoor community by empowering women to discover their capabilities through wilderness exploration, engagement in civic processes, and community service projects. We aim to encourage self-reliance in nature, a desire to protect the outdoors, and independence for women in all aspects of society. Engagement with women of across the age spectrum and the greater Southwest community fosters intergenerational mentoring relationships and cultivates safe community that allows women to discuss and address gender-based inequality. WILD works with like-minded groups to maximize our impact.
