Founded in 1914 by Captain Hugh Wilford and Mr. Scott McKay upon the opening of the Panama Canal, Wilford & McKay was dedicated primarily to the Canadian lumber trade making its way through the recently inaugurated Panama Canal.
We are a key role player in the Liquid/GAS/Dry bulk/General cargo segment handling more tankers and bulk carriers, including gas carriers, than any other agency in Panama for transit and port calls operations in the various Terminals of Panama.

(Cristobal Southbound / Balboa Northbound) We liaise closely with the Panama Canal Authority to ensure safe and smooth transits through the waterway keeping customers well informed of the canal traffic situation and the available options suggestions which can be considered to avoid delays trying to keep ship demurrage time and operating cost minimal.
Discharge/Loading Operations - Liquid/Bulk/General Cargo Industries:
(All Panama Area Ports) Specialized Cargo Operations Department for load/discharge operation/documentation and supervision at all the Ports of Panama, well experienced team capable of undertaking any specialized operations; (Dry) bulk grain/cement discharge, Industrial project cargo/steel rebar/coil discharge, container/general cargo load/discharge. (Liquid) bulk blends, commingle, discharge, loading, lightering and ship to ship transfers for oil and LPG.
