The William Temple Foundation is a research hub and think tank We generate ideas about the impact of religion on civil society, wellbeing, politics, economics, and urban change. Through these ideas we seek to: - Develop understanding of key social concerns through original research, publications and training. - Develop local and national networks to share experience, thinking and practice. - Develop practical changes for church, public policy and academia. Since 1947, the William Temple Foundation has sought to connect Christian social concerns to the realities of the secular world. We are a progressive organisation that seeks to engage a diverse range of religious and secular thinkers; working across disciplines including theology, sociology, social policy, economics and beyond. We connect clergy, church workers, community activists and policy-makers with accomplished academics, to learn from one another.
