Founded in 2009, Willis Welby LLP is a partnership, authorised and regulated by the FCA, providing independent research and advice to institutional investors in equities.We have a number of the UK’s leading institutional investors as clients. Our focus is on finding investment ideas in global equities. We currently cover around 1,350 stocks in these areas: Oil and gas Basic materials Industrials Healthcare Consumer goods Consumer services Telecommunications Technology We also provide a specialist UK and Europe Ex-UK product. Our coverage continues to grow. We specialise in expectations analysis. This is decoding investor expectations for profits and returns beyond the period of consensus forecasts. We do this using our proprietary financial models. We aggregate outputs from these into our unique Data Handbooks and our web-based Investment Platform (WWIP). With our focus on explaining the current share price rather than generating a target price, we publish in a variety of formats on apparent anomalies in expectations versus a number of benchmarks. These anomalies are almost always the foundation of our investment ideas and advice. We emphasise process over outcome. Whilst we make recommendations, we think the most important thing is that we have a consistent and thoughtful approach. This means clients know the process behind the advice. In addition to our self-generated ideas, we regularly undertake bespoke work at the request of clients.
