WIMMA Lab on haastekeskeinen oppimiskonsepti, joka toteutetaan hybridi toteutuksena vuonna 2023. Konseptin tarkoituksena on integroida opiskelijoita työnmukaiseen projektityöskentelyyn.Eri yritykset voivat tarjota opiskelijoille haasteita ratkaistavaksi. Tämän vuoden työnantajat tulevat JAMKista ja ulkopuolisista yrityksistä.
WIMMA Labissa voit oppia tärkeitä työelämän taitoja, kuten tiimityötä, yhteistyötä ja kommunikaatiota yritysten kanssa, ja ongelmanratkaisutaitoja. Tulet tapaamaan monia ihmisiä eri yrityksistä, joiden tietämys voi olla erittäin hyödyllistä myöhemmin.
WIMMA Lab tunnetaan myös nimellä Summer Factory (2011-2014) ja Challenge Factory (2014-2017), ja se nimettiin kesällä 2017 WIMMA Labiksi, mikä antoi mahdollisuuden laajentaa konseptia ympäri maailmaa.
Wimma Lab is a concept based on the challenge-centered approach. Purpose of the concept is to integrate students into different kinds of research challenges.
Various companies can present challenges for students to solve. This year’s employers come from IT-institute of JAMK University of Applied Sciences.

Wimma Lab is also known as Summer Factory (2011-2014) and Challenge Factory (2014-2017) and was re-named in summer 2017 to Wimma Lab, giving chance to expand the concept over the world.
