WiN Pakistan

WiN Pakistan (Women in Nuclear Pakistan) is a distinguished chapter of WiN Global, an intercultural non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and empowering skilled women in the nuclear sector. Established in 2005 under the umbrella of the Pakistan Nuclear Society (PNS), WiN Pakistan serves as a platform to promote the peaceful uses of nuclear technology and to foster professional development in nuclear science, technology, and radiation applications. Our Mission: WiN Pakistan is committed to spreading awareness about the peaceful applications of nuclear technology with a special focus on women and children. By facilitating public dialogue and professional skill development, we work to empower women in nuclear science, engineering, and related fields. Our goal is to bridge generations of nuclear professionals, encouraging gender balance and diversity while creating a strong community of knowledge sharing. As part of WiN Global, we actively contribute to the global conversations on climate change and gender balance. Through our network, we promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences between members and chapters, create partnerships, and provide development and learning opportunities to our members. Our efforts aim to spark greater interest in nuclear engineering, science, and other nuclear-related professions. Key Objectives: 1. Promote awareness of the benefits of nuclear and radiation applications. 2. Support gender equality and diversity within the nuclear industry. 3. Foster national and international collaboration by sharing resources and knowledge. 4. Organize conferences, workshops, and meetings to exchange ideas and experiences across the nuclear community. 5.
