Windows for Beirut

Following the catastrophic explosion in Beirut on August 4th, the non-profit humanitarian ‘Windows For Beirut’ foundation has been launched to enable 300,000 displaced people in Beirut to get back to their homes safely and quickly. It was co-founded by Lara Moutin, a Beirut-born French expert in Sustainable Development and Supply Chain and Ricardo Karam, Founder of Takreem, TV presenter and advocate of promoting Arab talents, achievements and social causes. Windows For Beirut foundation has chosen to work in tight collaboration with ‘Architectes de l’Urgence’ (Emergency Architects) led by Patrick Coulombel to benefit from 20 years internationally recognized expertise and successful track record in terms of technical assistance and impact investment in terms of housing victims of natural, technological and human catastrophes. Architectes de l’Urgence has delivered critical assistance in Indonesia Tsunami, Haïti earthquake, AZF Toulouse etc. Windows For Beirut Foundation obeys to strict governance, transparency and traceability rules.
