The change from fossil fuels to renewable energies is one of the major trends of the 21st century. The most developed form among renewable energies is wind energy. During the last decade, wind energy experienced a rapid development exhibiting a great potential for growth in the near future – especially when considering offshore wind farms and international markets. In this rapidly developing field Windrad Engineering GmbH offers consultancy services for wind turbine manufacturers, project developers, and more general mechanical engineering. Our aim is to support our customers to develop projects as a competent partner and to make use of wind energy converters more reliable and cost-effective. Through our own R & D projects we are always up-to-date with the latest technology and constantly seek to further develop our methods and tools. Wind energy is an interdisciplinary field. In our team, members of the different engineering and science disciplines work closely together. This way, a broader understanding of the matter is achieved and synergy effects arise.
