The view that a solitary wine writer / critic, does not have the capacity to taste the majority of Australia’s wine offering (let alone international wines), has moulded the manner in which Wine Genius has created its business model. Working with recognised wine writers, sommeliers, wine educators and wine enthusiasts, the Wine Genius tasting team will endeavour to review the majority of Australian wines released each year. Members of Wine Genius will have the ability to create new reviews, add comments to an existing wine review, upload images of wine labels and share their (new or existing) tasting notes with their friends via social media, text message and email.
Creating Australia’s most comprehensive and up-to-date tasting note repository is a considerable task, however Wine Genius will not stop there. Through a staggered technology release schedule, Wine Genius will shortly launch its key online tools, the Wine Genius recommender engine and Taste Planner.
