Wintex Agro

The owner of Wintex Agro is Torben Vinther who is educated and examined in agriculture and the cultivation of plants. With his outstanding know-how and great experience within precision farming and farming in general, he has specialized in developing and manufacturing automatic soil samplers. Already in 1996, he developed the first automatic soil sampler, the Vindél 100. The Wintex 1000 for soil samples up to 25 cm was developed in 1998 and ready for sale in 1999. It became a huge success and led to hiring more employees. In 2012, Wintex Agro took over the production of Geonor's soil sampler the Geonor MCL3 for soil samples in 120 cm and 200 cm depth. After considerable improvements it is now on the market as the Wintex MCL3. Since then, the demand and the input from a worldwide network led to developing, manufacturing and selling further automatic soil samplers: - In 2012 the Wintex 2000 for soil samples up to 60 cm and from two different layers at the same time. - In 2013 the Wintex 1000s for soil samples up to 30 cm. - In 2016 the Wintex 3000 for soil samples up to 90 cm and the Wintex 3000s for soil samples up to 100 cm and from three different layers at the same time. Today, Wintex Agro’s automatic soil samplers are sold worldwide, and they are well-known for their accuracy and reliability.
