Wira Group was founded in 1980 by Ahmed Ghafoor Faris, starting as a small store specializing in the sale of construction materials. The group began under the name Ahmed Ghafoor Faris Company, with its primary focus on the sale of cement. Over the years, Wira Group has expanded its operations and now engages in a variety of sectors, including cement, gasoline, diesel, chemicals, construction, paving stones, and block ponza.
