Wirral Camp is a holiday camp for disadvantaged children from the Wirral. Every year we take 45 children aged 9-12 to Snowdonia for an outdoor activity week which gives the children, many of whom have never been on holiday or left the Wirral, the opportunity to meet new people and take part in activities they would never have tried before.
The camp has been running for over 75 years as part of St Vincent de Paul Society (registered charity no: 1053992). The SVP oversees camps all over the UK and provide governance, training and insurance, but each camp is managed and funded separately by volunteers.
