We are observing the collapse of systems, and in the midst of our world's rebirth, we ardently strive to preserve balance throughout this profound metamorphosis. Our aspiration is to uphold the enduring harmony that predates humanity's footprint. Rather than imposing ourselves as arbitrary leaders, we stand humbly as individuals in community, nurtured by the wisdom passed down through our diverse Indigenous traditions, attuned to the needs of our communities, and untainted by the will of non governmental organizations. Facing global challenges, which span loss and damage, adaptation, mitigation, climate finance, ocean issues, food sovereignty, Indigenous sovereignty, ocean health and human health, mass incarceration, biodiversity, water concerns, and the urgent call to embrace our fundamental and universal values, our delegation stands resolutely committed to nurturing a harmonious transition. We center our efforts on incorporating Indigenous wisdom into all these subjects, recognizing its profound significance in guiding our path forward. We acknowledge the pressing need to uphold equilibrium during this profound transformation, safeguarding the timeless balance that existed long before human intervention. Our gathering at the United Nations Conference of the Parties is driven by these steadfast beliefs, viewed through the lens of Indigenous wisdom.
