The firm initially operated exclusively as a cyber security law and consulting business, but has grown to provide a breadth of other services in order to add value to the client experience. Wise Law is a proud Australian veteran-owned business. Wise Law is delighted to be able to assist individuals, business and government with their cyber security law needs (both preventative, responsive and with a view to preserving the best possible stance in the case of litigation resulting from a cyber incident or breach of data). We also assist our clients in the areas of privacy law (including breach of confidence, and the statutory tort of privacy), data law/protection, technology contracting (such as terms and conditions relating to IT, software and operational technology), intellectual property, media law (including contract law on content eg distribution agreements, self publishers who need external advice, defamation and open justice (including pre and post publication advice), overseas media companies, regulatory advice (ACMA, broadcasting, licensing, telecommunications)), and in Artificial Intelligence law.
