Control, School of Business, Economics and Society, Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg, and his research team strive for new insights in the areas of management control, business strategy, and firm disclosures.
For over 20 years, Prof. Fischer and his team have been contributing to the
management control landscape in academia and corporate practice. Jointly with
partners from renowned institutions, they continue to foster a productive discourse in numerous research projects and publications.
The team‘s current research profile focuses on the digital transformation of the
Controlling function, the valuation and reporting of intangibles, the development of shared service organizations, the implementation of business analytics, and the
association of financial and non-financial KPIs in performance management systems.
We are open to new ideas and proposals in any of these areas, and welcome other
innovative research questions in the fields of accounting and management control.
