WiSupport is a independent supported accommodation provider based in Northamptonshire, supporting children and young people aged 18-25. We aim to provide an excellent and supportive service that focuses on the development of people, instilling confidence and self-belief. We value the relationships that can be built in society and ensure that ours are strong and positive, whether that is in the community, or within the organisation. WiSupport is a believer that 'everybody deserves to have the life they want' and to help with this we offer a bespoke independence plan to all the individuals we support, which is completed by our children and young people at a pace appropriate to the individual. Our service is delivered by experienced and trained professionals in the PACE therapeutic model and our service places emphasis on trauma informed practice and building meaningful connections. It is important to us that we are able to care for and support our children and young people to be resilient and work through a multitude of needs and we are committed to doing so. We use a person centred approach in everything we do, therefore the individuals in our support are at the forefront of our work. Our staff receive regular high quality mandatory training and this is followed up by futher additional training to meet the needs of the service, children and young people and their colleagues. All employees are closely supervised to ensure that best practice is kept and staff are empowered to excel in their roles. The staff also receive consistent support to continue their development. By doing this we are maintaining our focus of instilling confidence and self-belief throughout the organisation, benefitting the individuals and staff, by role modelling independence.
