West Kimberley Futures - Empowered Communities

West Kimberley Futures Empowered Communities (EC-West) is a valuable backbone organisation in the Kimberley working directly with Aboriginal leaders, member organisations, Aboriginal young people, government agencies and the wider community. EC-West’s vision is to empower all West Kimberley Aboriginal people, both at the structural and individual level, to lead generational change. Generational change, as envisioned by EC-West, signifies a comprehensive transformation in the lives of West Kimberley Aboriginal individuals, families, and communities. It's a vision that encompasses progressing priorities around housing, family empowerment, thriving young people, empowered young leaders, effective community engagement, governance and reform, all with complimentary approaches to create a positive and sustainable impact across generations.
