Die Familie Hertin führt mittlerweile in 4. Generation unser 1822 in Balve gegründetes Familienunternehmen fort und hat zudem die international tätige Wocklum Gruppe ins Leben gerufen. Nicht kurzfristige Börsenentwicklungen, sondern nachhaltiges Wachstum, gute Arbeitsbedingungen und die Übernahme von Verantwortung für Menschen in der Region und Umwelt standen und stehen dabei bei uns im Fokus.
Die Chemische Fabrik Wocklum Gebr. Hertin GmbH & Co. KG (auch bekannt als „Chemie Wocklum“ oder „Wocklum Chemie“) ist der Region treu geblieben und heute einer der großen Arbeitgeber in Balve und Umgebung. Gleichzeitig sind wir mit einem weiteren Standort in Oberhausen, im Herzen des Ruhrgebiets, aktiv. Mit unserem krisenfesten Kerngeschäft, dem Handeln und Recyceln von Basis-Chemikalien, sind wir einer der führenden Chemikalienhändler in Deutschland. Darüber hinaus treiben wir stetig Eigenentwicklungen, Patente und den Bereich Lohnfertigung voran.
